Our Mission
For 16 years, MARS HILL AUDIO has been bringing Christian presuppositions to bear on a broad range of subjects often neglected in the Church, such as literary criticism, philosophy, political theory, economics, technology, and aesthetics. We do this by finding today's most thoughtful authors and introducing them to our listeners through interviews about the ideas in their books. We believe that God has made us as creatures whose lives are blessed through activity in a wide range of cultural pursuits. We also believe that modern culture and its present configurations and preoccupations poses real obstacles and distractions to Christian faithfulness. So we try to find the people who can help us understand the dynamics behind those obstacles, and offer counsel about how to live faithfully despite the distractions. And we want to share their wisdom with you.
How to Download MP3s
To listen to your audio content, log in to the MP3 Library page (or click "Your MP3 Library" in the navigation bar on the left). Your user name is the email address we received from your gift-giver (contact us if you're not sure), and your password is "password" (without the quotation marks). When you log in for the first time, you should change your password to one of your own choosing by clicking on "Your Profile."
After you log in, you will see a list of MP3 issues of MARS HILL AUDIO Journal. The list includes the audio files for each purchase, as well as associated print files, including forms for printing CD labels, tray liners, and other resources.
The file list for each product includes an informative "1st Read Me" which has extensive instructions for getting the audio files into MP3 playback software, onto an MP3 player, or burned onto conventional CDs; you may wish to open this file first if MP3 listening is new to you. If you're familiar with ZIP and MP3 files, you can simply download the audio files and start listening right away.
If you decide to order other MP3 products from MARS HILL AUDIO, be sure to use the same email-address to avoid duplicate accounts.

A Request
One final note. We realize that it's amazingly easy to share these files with friends and family members. We decided not to use any digital protection systems in these files, so that means you're on an honor system of sorts. So we ask that you read our comments here about how we hope you'll respect the hard work we put into these products.
