| Barbara Dafoe Whitehead, author of The Divorce Culture, serves on the Massachusetts Commission for Responsible Fatherhood and the Religion and Public Values Task Force of the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, and co-directs The National Marriage Project, which is a research and public education program based at Rutgers University. She earned her Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Chicago and her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin. She also studied at Columbia University as a Woodrow Wilson Fellow.
