Poet Jeanne Murray Walker is professor of English at the University of Delaware. In addition to writing for periodicals such as Poetry, The American Poetry Review, The Nation, and Image, she has also written for theatre. Her poems and plays have been honored with various awards, including a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and the Pew Fellowship in the Arts. She earned her Ph. D. from the University of Pennsylvania and her B. A. from Wheaton College.
