	Steven L. Nock is a professor of sociology, the director of the Marriage Matters project, and co-director of the Center for Children, Families, and the Law at the University of Virginia. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He has served on the faculty at Tulan University and the National Academy of Sciences. His research interests include the causes and consequences of change in the American family. Steven L. Nock was also a guest on the MARS HILL AUDIO Report, "Wandering Towards the Altar."
