Albert Borgmann is a professor of philosophy at the University of Montana. Along with numerous journal articles, Borgmann is the author of Technology and the Character of Contempoary Life; Crossing the Postmodern Divide; and, in 1999, Holding on to Reality: The Nature of Information at the Turn of the Millennium.
