	Mark Slouka, author of War of the Worlds: Cyberspace and the High-Tech Assault on Reality, has served as lecturer in English and popular culture at the University of California, San Diego. Currently he is serving as an assistant professor of creative writing at Columbia University. He earned his Ph.D., M.Phil, M.A., and B.A. from Columbia University.
