	Carson Holloway is an assistant professor at Concord College in Athens, West Virginia. In addition to All Shook Up, is he author of, among others, The End of Democracy II: A Crisis of Legitimacy (Spence, 1999). He earned his PhD and MA from Northern Illinois University, and his BA from the University of Northern Iowa.
