biographical information



Steve Bruce is professor of sociology and head of the department of sociology at the University of Aberdeen. His work has been published in numerous periodicals and journals, such as the Herald, the Guardian, and the New Statesman. He earned his PhD and BA from the University of Stirling and the Queen Victoria School, respectively, and his research interests include the social causes and consequences of religious adherence.
