Michael Budde is a professor of political science at DePaul University. He earned his Ph.D. from Northwestern University, his M.A. from Catholic University of America, and his B.S.J. from Northwestern University. His previous works include The (Magic) Kingdom of God: The Catholic Church and Global Culture Industries (Westview/HarperCollins, 1997). Robert Brimlow is an assistant professor of philosophy at St. John Fisher College. He earned his PhD from the University of Rochester and his BA from Fordham University. In addition to collaborating with Michael Budde on Christianity Incorporated, Brimlow and Budde previously coedited The Church as Counterculture (SUNY Press, 2000).
