Barrett Fisher is Associate Dean of Arts and Humanities at Bethel University (MN), where he also teaches courses in the Film Studies program. His professional interests include film theory and history, Shakespeare on film and in performance, the novel, and 19th-20th century British literature. Among his favorite authors are Joseph Conrad, Charles Dickens, Annie Dillard, T.S. Eliot, and Flannery O'Connor. He received his Ph.D. from Cornell University.
