Eugene Peterson is Professor Emeritus of Spiritual Theology at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia; he is also a retired pastor and a poet. He has written several books, including Psalms: Prayers of the Heart (InterVarsity Press, 2000). He earned his degrees from Seattle Pacific University, New York Theological Seminary, and Johns Hopkins University.
