	Richard Doerflinger is the associate director for Policy Development at the Secretariat for Pro-Life Activities of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops. He has done postgraduate work at the University of Chicago and The Catholic University of America, and earned his M.A. in divinity from the University of Chicago. His work has appeared in periodicals including the Hastings Center Report, and the Linacre Quarterly.
